@oliverlindberg I know, I’ve been contacted. Thanks!!
@marcobarbosa No, but both will be available after publication date. Kindle version requires extra work so will take more time than print@lamecarlate Thanks! Shoot me an email at lea at verou.me but keep in mind most of them will be fixed in copyediting or proofreading. If you really want to know about CSS, this is the book for you http://t.co/hk31ncU1dm by the Web's CSS artist in residence, @LeaVerou
Retweeted by Lea Verou@vgrigory Still not sure I understand what you’re trying to do. It seems that top alignment of the text would be best in that case?@LeaVerou your "CSS secrets" book is awesome. Good work! (and I read a lot of technical books, believe me). I like it :)
Retweeted by Lea Verou.@LeaVerou Thanks for http://t.co/2nBFF4CM7V. Subject-matter depth that reads like a friendly conversation; best designed book I've seen!
Retweeted by Lea Verou
@vgrigory not sure what you mean. Example?@efrikio @wakkos Um, the title is CSS Secrets and I have no idea what you mean by the parens. But thanks, I guess? Hope you enjoy the book.@type_style Yeah this tool is out of date. The good news is, you don't really need -webkit-gradient() any more, so it’s useless now :)
@koste4 If not, perhaps we could make it happen via mail :)@koste4 Glad you enjoyed it! I would love to make that happen! Are you ever in the US?Spent afternoon reading "CSS Secrets" by @LeaVerou and got completely hooked by it, tons of very useful info we all need to know about CSS

And I spent the weekend to read CSS Secrets book by @LeaVerou she's indeed reveal tons of secrets, recommended! <3 it
Retweeted by Lea Verou@arnars No, but that's a good idea. The only way I can think of is looping through Awesomplete.all and comparing .input — but that's messy@xon1c I believe the discount is over.@flocke And in many cases I argued that technique X is better than Y due to graceful degradation.@flocke There were several discussions in the book about how gracefully each technique degrades.
@flocke Yes, you do get the final ebook. Also, re:browser support, did you read the intro? It talks about this & explains the decision.Hell yeah! (@ Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI) in Seawell, Christ Church) https://t.co/Sqff6dPYU1I'm not sure what this sign is all about, but it seems to involve glow in the dark boobs and a large swimming penis. http://t.co/5Kfz5lbBWR
Retweeted by Lea Verou@tamaraywash @oreillymedia You need to use the coupon code mentioned on the first page.
@HazelMcKendrick Is this for reals?!? /cc @jaffathecakeThe Daily Mail just discovered transparency, and it is the BEST http://t.co/VxgJHHortu
Retweeted by Lea Verou@dudleystorey Sure! That way I can tell you if anything you criticize is fixed in the final version :)@r_desimone thanks, hope you like it! Greetings from Cambridge!Just purchased CSS Secrets by Lea Verou, highly recommended! Also, I love the design of the book. http://t.co/FsCmBdpFCX
Retweeted by Lea Verou@dudleystorey the final content will be very, very close. The fixes will be mainly layout & some copyediting.read the first 'secret' from css secrets by @LeaVerou. already the best CSS book I own.
Retweeted by Lea Verou
@dudleystorey Aww, thanks, hope you enjoy it! Let me know what you think :)@ubermoepet Thanks, hope you like it! (I enjoy paper books more too :)Bought "CSS Secrets" by @LeaVerou : should be titled "At least, CSS explained right"— it's so insightful ! http://t.co/Gadej36fhf
Retweeted by Lea VerouJust finished reading the early release of CSS Secrets and it’s definitely a must read ! Lots of good things in there :) Thanks @LeaVerou !
Retweeted by Lea Verou@magrolino Completely agree :(I finished reading CSS Secrets by @LeaVerou. You should all read it and master each and every technique she explains http://t.co/ejtukLxyma
Retweeted by Lea Verou@lucasmohler Which 5 if I may ask? :)@lucasmohler Thanks, you just made my day! :D@LeaVerou I just downloaded your book... It's awesome. I have already used five secrets in a website for one of my clients. Great job.
Retweeted by Lea Verou"CSS Secrets" by @LeaVerou is so good. Basically every useful CSS technique in one book. Must buy! http://t.co/1XSLTYZvLE.
Retweeted by Lea Verou@adosrecreativo http://t.co/pLu15OtfIz :)@chloraldo Yes, here: http://t.co/pLu15OtfIz but it’s a rough draft. People who buy the early release get the final ebook in May.@designerdon Yes, but you’d need to write a few lines of JS to update the .list dynamically.Reading my twitter mentions has turned into a quick endorphin fix lately, as people are starting to read my book (the early release pdf) :D
@marvinvista @itzapexpred Yes, you get the final ebook for free, in all formats, if you buy the early release.@andreipopovici You have missed the point of the joke so much that other missing the point exchanges would crown this one as their king.Perhaps there is a German word for that uncomfortable feeling you get when you somehow find yourself explaining and dissecting a joke.@andreipopovici No, not at all. It’s a general MIT evaluation survey, from MIT. There are a lot of surveys.@andreipopovici It’s (obviously, I thought…) a survey for MIT students and staff, sent through email to us.@madeofpixel @designsheffield Keep in mind the early release PDF is seriously *early*. Not so much content-wise, but tons of layout bugs.@madeofpixel @designsheffield Nope, it goes to print in April. The PDF people have been reading is also a draft, not the final ebook.@designsheffield This is so great, so glad you like it! :D@LeaVerou congrats on the book... Only on the first section and using tips from it already 👍
Retweeted by Lea Verou@3nder Yup!@3nder Um, I think you got it a bit backwards :P Re-read? :)Ugh, who writes these surveys? *rolls eyes* The “Not applicable” option is clearly missing here. :D http://t.co/OPFCsgQxzMA visa for @SaraSoueidan! Let's put an end to this hassle. Thank you for making this, @_mestevens: http://t.co/D0WZaUxXwV
Retweeted by Lea Verou@doug_hanke Oh I see! I’m not familiar with the Conan sketch so that’s why I didn’t get it :) Hope you’re enjoying the book so far! :)@doug_hanke I’m confused. This is not a quote from the book… Where is it from?Such a good book on so many levels. For instance, she gives hat tips to people who wrote about a technique before. http://t.co/ejtukLxyma
Retweeted by Lea Verou@vasilis Aw, thanks! Where are you? Did you read it all?The goal of every web designer and developer should be to master everything that @LeaVerou writes in her CSS Secrets http://t.co/ejtukLxyma

@vasilis That might be a good idea. Not necessarily on my blog, but perhaps as a book excerpt somewhere (e.g. @smashingmag )@vasilis Hopefully when it's out Google Books will provide that functionality :)@fotiman Interesting. What made you unsure about that?@wakkos Oh, and all the layout bugs you see in this draft won’t be in the final.@wakkos Awwww. Thanks, I hope you like it :)@wakkos Unfortunately not right now :( I wish there was one already.@marvinvista @itzapexpred It will be, once it’s released. This is a rough preview.Nodding along in agreement with everything @LeaVerou writes in the CSS Coding Tips section of her book. http://t.co/ejtukLxyma

@vthnkmr neither do formats. The book is the content and the design.Just bought "CSS secrets" by @LeaVerou, can't wait for tonight when I'll have time to read it! (ohhhh Sir Adam Catlace is in the book :3 )
Retweeted by Lea Verou@vthnkmr So if I leave a 1 star review and say it’s because I had a bad day, it’s justified because I mentioned why? Um, no.@vthnkmr There is a warning. That’s how you know about it, remember?@vthnkmr Of course not, but a) reviews are for the CONTENT. b) It’s a fucking PREVIEW. The final ebook will be available in all formats. How it feels to watch a user test your product for the first time. #UX http://t.co/IwcqECciFN
